Reversing Safety with Car Parking Sensors

Backing up is the cause of most parking accidents. When you can see straight ahead or out your side windows you have a better chance of making sure you don’t hit another car or person. When you are reversing you have blind spots as well as the need to look around the entire car to make sure there are no objects in your way.

Reverse car parking sensors are one item you can place on your car to make sure you stop most accidents from occurring. The car parking sensors are a no drill parking sensor. A no drill parking sensor will adhere to the back side of the bumper on your car and still be able to read how close you are to other objects.
To qualify how the car parking sensors work for reversing safety you should know that the distance from the object is important. If a car speeding through the parking lot comes up behind you chances are the sensor may not read it as it would a stationary object. You must always be hyper aware of what is around you; knowing that you can prevent most of these accidents.
The reverse sensor is going to help you determine how close a person is walking behind you, tell you if your bumper is near any object, and help prevent your damaging your car or another object. The parking aids have three zones on the reverse sensor.
Zone one is going to be an inconsistent beep sound. It will warn you that it senses an object behind you, but that you are still not close to hitting it. The second zone of the car parking sensor will be more consistent, but not a steady pulse. This is a warning that you are getting closer and should stop to reposition soon. The last zone is a constant beep that warns you are too close. At this point repositioning the car is a must. By having the car parking sensor on your vehicle you can avoid most reversing accidents and stay safe.
