Protect Your Citroen with a Parking Sensor Kit

Parking accidents happen whether it is driver fault or something else. We do know that about 33 percent of parking accidents are the fault of the driver. With such statistics it might be important to consider how you can protect your vehicle from being damaged through driver error as well as the other accidents that occur. There are certain devices on the market that protect vehicles like your Citroen. These devices are called car parking sensors.

A parking sensor is fitted to the bumpers of the car to help you “see” the area around you with a series of audible tones. There are two parking sensors in most parking sensor kits. You have the front parking sensor and the rear parking sensor.
Not all parking sensors will work the same. In fact there are two types of parking sensors on the market for the Citroen vehicle. There is an ultrasonic parking sensor and an electromagnetic parking sensor. The electromagnetic parking sensor offers a better judge of distance and technology. Parking Dynamics sells a Parking Dynamics PD1 front and rear parking sensor. Their parking sensors are invisible when fitted, which means there is no need to drill a hole in the factory bumper.
The other Citroen parking sensor requires more sensors to be placed in the bumper, with a drilled hole for each one. This can mare the factory look. It also doesn’t work to the degree an electromagnetic parking sensor works.  The Parking Dynamics PD1 never needs to be readjusted. It also does not need maintenance. There has only been one issue with the Parking Dynamics PD1. The issue comes with heavy and SUV’s where water could set the parking sensor off. This is a minor issue that does not even occur on the Citroen parking sensor Parking Dynamics PD1.
