Parking Sensors Prevent Parking Accidents – Parking Sensors

Parking Sensors are parking devices that you install on your car or vehicle to prevent Parking accidents and reversing accidents. Parking Sensors are simple and effective devices that are installed on or inside of your bumper and some are visible when installed and some are totally hidden and invisible when fitted like the Parking Dynamics range.

Parking Sensors alert you to obstacles behind your car or vehicle by emitting an audible alert or a visual alert or these can be combined for the best or both worlds. Parking Sensors effectively provide you with eyes in the back of your head or specifically eyes in your rear bumper to guide you in your risky parking manoeuvres.

Parking sensors are made by a number of companies around the world but the only brand that we recommend is the Parking Dynamics Parking Sensors that have over 15 years of research and development and are truly tried and tested. Parking Dynamics parking sensors provide you with 3 different parking sensors including the PD1 Front, PD1 Rear and PD1 Vision.

Parking Dynamics Parking Sensors also come as a twin pack that includes the PD1 Front and Rear or the PD1 Front and Vision parking sensors. The PD1 range of sensors are universal and give you a comprehensive vehicle application list with optimum compatibility and offer total flexibility.

Parking Sensors are available for all vehicles A to Z and cover the range from Alfa Romeo to VW and suit any vehicle, car, van, MPV, SUV, motor home, etc, offering the driver total parking and reversing protection.

Parking Sensors are easy to install for the average DIYer and a breeze for the installation professional and come complete with comprehensive installation instructions. Parking Sensors are installed by first removing the bumper that is actually a lot easier than most people imagine as car bumpers are now purely cosmetic and are pretty light when removed.

The parking sensors antenna is then fixed in position on the inner side of the bumper and covered with gaffa tape for protection against the elements.

With a simple 3 wire installation process, parking sensors can be installed on average within 1 to 2 hours on most cars and some under 40 minutes.  Once the antenna and wiring is complete test for correct operation and then re-install the bumper… job done!

Parking Dynamics Parking Sensors provide you with all round protection and complete parking and reversing confidence and are a smart way to ensure that when you park or reverse that you prevent all risk of accidents with people, vehicles, skips, fences, walls, sign posts and all stationary and moving objects.

Parking Dynamics Parking Sensors are totally unique in design and operation and offer you a superior alternative to ultrasonic parking sensors as they mount on the inner side of your bumper and require absolutely no parts to be exposed unlike the ultrasonic parking sensors that need you to mount ugly sensors in your bumper and this requires set-up, cleaning and regular maintenance.

The PD1 parking sensors are easy to install and totally invisible when fitted, you cannot see a thing and with no parts comes no set-up, no cleaning and no maintenance. The PD1 really is a No Drill. No Holes. No Damage parking sensors product that once fitted is forgotten until you need its aid in a parking situation.

PD1 Parking sensors are the most effective parking sensors made anywhere on the planet and offer you the best in compatibility, reliability and accuracy. This is the daddy of parking sensors and is as good as it gets.

The operation of the PD1 Parking sensors is a truly revolutionary technology. When reverse gear is selected or the front sensor for the PD1 Front is activated the parking dynamics PD1 kicks in to life instantly and runs a self diagnostic test to ensure the parking sensors system is 100% working. You here this with 3 beeps, this means everything is OK to proceed and begin your parking manoeuvre.

The PD1 Parking Sensors then send out an instant electromagnetic wave to the area surrounding the rear of your car even onto the sites, directly behind your car and up to 3 feet away. Ultrasonic parking sensors don’t detect the distance directly behind your car and this could be deemed a safety issue.

Once you begin your movement backwards the PD1 parking sensors continue to scan this whole area looking for an detection of mass entering the detection zones and this is the data relayed back in milliseconds to the parking sensors ECU Electronic Control Unit.

Once an obstacle enters the detection zones you are alerted by audible or visual alerts depending on the model or PD1 you have. The alert is emitted the instant that mass enters the detection zone so there is absolutely no chance of missing an object… It will be detected!

This mass then passes from the antenna mounted on the inner side of your bumper to the ECU and this is instantly converted into a voltage and consequently and audible and/or visual alert. You then react accordingly and make your decision to stop keep moving or go forwards.

Parking sensors give you different levels of alert for example the rear parking sensors have 3 levels or audible and/or visual alert that allows you to know in real time your distance from an object. The first level is a slow beep and/or green light on the LED display of the Vision parking sensors and then you get a faster beep and orange on the Vision display and then a solid tone and red display on the Vision parking sensors. This last tone equals STOP!

Most cars from the factory or car dealership do not come with parking sensors and this is something that you have to make a snap decision when buying a car do you want parking sensors as they offer it to you as an upgrade normally at a crazy price like £399 for a Citroen or £700 for a Volvo parking sensors kit.

If you choose to have one fitted at a later date once you have bought the car many dealerships don’t actually offer this retro-fit service for parking sensors and if they do typically they will just call in an installer from the outside and who may just install a cheap Chinese made ultrasonic kit, not good when you were expecting dealer branded parking sensors.

Parking Dynamics parking sensors provide you with a cost effective parking aid that helps you parking and reverse easily and effortlessly in any parking situation and at the front of your car or the rear of your car. Ultimately the parking Dynamics PD1 parking sensors give you ultimate parking protection and total parking and reversing confidence.
