Audi Rear Parking Sensor Options

The Audi parking sensor Parking Dynamics PD1 will help protect your vehicle from parking accidents. Most of the parking accidents that occur are reverse parking accidents. Therefore we are going to discuss reverse parking safety for Audi’s. You can always purchase the front parking sensor for the Audi, as well as the rear parking sensor, but if you are on a budget consider at least the rear Audi parking aids. We will look at both rear Audi parking sensor Parking Dynamics PD1 options that you have.

The first option is just a rear parking sensor. This parking sensor like all of the Parking Dynamics PD1 parking sensors is an electromagnetic parking sensor, and universal. This means it works on most car models and even on metal bumpers. For metal bumpers there is a minor change needed to the parking sensor to install it. All the Audi parking sensor Parking Dynamics PD1 options will be no drill parking sensors. Your bumper will remain new like it just came from the factory after installation.
The rear parking sensor offers you three zones to read objects around the vehicle. The closer you get to the object the more the audio tone becomes a constant sound. The rear parking sensor will read up to 30cm, which denotes how close you can get to another object like a car. The Audi parking sensor does detect vehicles, people, pets, bushes, curbs, fences, and other barriers. It can even help you navigate out of your garage if the walls are tight.
The second Audi car parking sensor option is called the rear vision parking sensor. The rear vision offers a little more in regards to seeing the area behind your car. It has an LED display to install in the car to help map out the area behind you.  This is your best option if you want the clearest view of what obstacles could damage your car. It still reads the same distance and detects the same objects.
These Audi parking sensor Parking Dynamics PD1 options have been tested for weather issues. The results found that in some SUV’s with a heavy rain the readings can be off, but it is rare. So, for reverse parking safety in all parking situations make sure you have a Parking Dynamics PD1 for your Audi.
