My Life Was Saved By A Reverse Parking Sensor

I was coming out of a pub near Twickenham when two lads jumped me and stole my wallet and began beating me senseless. The last thing I remember was falling to the ground. A woman who was driving a car with a reverse parking sensor happened to be going to the pub that night and had it not been for her, I am not sure what would have happened to me.

I had a concussion and needed medical attention right away. On top of that, I had fallen into a parking space and the pub car park was not very well lit. Anyone could have run over me.

The woman who found me had just had a reverse parking sensor put on her car shortly before the incident at the pub. When she was backing into the space, the parking sensor went off. The way that parking sensors work is that if you get to close to an object, they make a noise. A loud noise that will alert you that you are too close to something. In this case, the object was me.

The woman got out of the car to see what was there and saw me lying on the ground, beaten and bloody. This was the first time that Eve actually saw me and I was in quite a state. Still, she made sure I got to hospital and called the police. Her quick thinking probably saved my life. And had it not been for her reverse parking sensor, she might not even have noticed me.

After Eve came to see me, we started to talk and became friends. Although she had a boyfriend, I quite fancied her and thought it would be nice if she would leave him to go with me. Meanwhile, the two men who jumped me and stole my wallet were caught by the police because Eve found me shortly after the incident. I had to testify against them in court. I was fortunate enough to get my wallet back.

Reverse parking sensors are a good idea for anyone who owns an automobile. I confess that I would not have thought to get them if it had not been for this incident. But after I got home, one of the first thing I did was visit Parking Dynamics on the internet and order both front and back car sensors. These are made for all makes and models of cars and are very inexpensive and easy to install. I found that they made it easier for me to park my car and I felt better about pulling into dark car parks.

Meanwhile, Eve and I stayed friends and, to my ultimate happiness, she declared that she was in love with me. We are to be married next year. I like to think that reverse parking sensors not only saved my life in that dark pub car park that night, but also allowed me to find the love of my life. When I tell someone all about Eve, they marvel at how funny fate can be.   Parking sensors not only saved my life, but actually helped me find a wife.

I can't believe the ease by which the parking sensor was fitted and we just love the discrete 'hidden' sensor design. What a difference the PD1 makes to both mine and my wife's parking and reversing.

The audible alert keeps our attention to a maximum level and really helps with tight parking spaces.
