Driving safety course - Your key to safe Driving

Most people get overconfident about their driving. With the driving license in their hands, they feel they are safe drivers. However, just having a license does not prove that you are a safe driver. For this, you need to undergo a driving safety course, which will instruct you on safe and unsafe driving. In fact, with time, our driving gets worse and sometimes it is far below the level of safety.

It would be difficult for you to realize the gradual deterioration in your driving. This is what you might be surprised to witness in the test. However, for an unsafe driver the results would be as expected. Although it is tough to be a safe driver, there is always a risk of accident for the unsafe driver. Now, in order to be as safe as you were earlier, it is better to join a traffic school for driving safety courses.

One of the most common reasons for undergoing driving safety course is the ticket dismissal. Such a course revives the defensive driving skills of a driver. Actually, defensive driving skills are acquired when a driver starts learning to drive. This sort of driving involves comprehensive focus on avoiding collision. The driver does not have to think about coming first in the crowd of vehicles; rather he/she   learns how to avoid accidents.

Nowadays, the driving schools have made it easier to learn a driving safety course. These schools have introduced online ticket dismissal course, through which the student can be taught over a virtual web-based interface. It also allows the driver to work at his or her own pace and frequency. To proceed with the defensive driving course online, you must check whether there are organizations that are requesting you to participate in the course. See if your employer wants to be acquainted with the latest safe driving practices before requesting you to drive the company vehicle. Even your auto insurance provider might help you with discount on your insurance premium if you are willing to take defensive driving course.

Obligations for Driving Safety Course

There are different requirements that you need to fulfil before joining a driving safety course. Take a look at them:

- Provide the proof of current Liability Insurance in which you are listed as a driver
- Submit the proof of a valid Texas Driver’s License
- You should plead no guilty or contest

In order to qualify for the defensive driving you need to be free from the following offenses:

- Violation of the regulations within a posted construction zone where workers are working
- Crossing the posted speed limits for 25 miles (or more)
- Overtaking a school bus
- Committing serious traffic violation while operating a commercial motor
- Absconding a scene of action
- Having a commercial driver’s license while operating a personal vehicle
- You have failed to clear a state approved driving safety course within 12 months immediately after the date of the alleged offense.

In case, you do no meet the Driving Safety Course requirements, you might be asked to appear before the court for a Show Cause hearing. If you fail to appear for the hearing, it might lead to conviction of the offense on your driving record, issue of an arrest warrant and adding additional fees.

I can't believe the ease by which the parking sensor was fitted and we just love the discrete 'hidden' sensor design. What a difference the PD1 makes to both mine and my wife's parking and reversing.

The audible alert keeps our attention to a maximum level and really helps with tight parking spaces.
