5 Reasons You Should Have Parking Sensors On Your Car

You have probably heard about parking sensors by now. They are not only for trucks and expensive vehicles any longer. Anyone can get parking sensors if they go online and buy them. They are inexpensive devices that are easily installed on the bumper of your car.

You cannot see them from the outside and no one knows that they are there but you. When they go off, they emit a loud sound that tells you that you are too close to an object or even a person.

5 good reasons why you should have parking sensors on your car are as follows:

A two year old boy was spared recently when he let go of the hand of his mum and went running in a car park and was nearly hit by a man backing out of a parking space. Fortunately, the man had parking sensors on his car. Prior to that day, the man had run over the family cat in the driveway, which induced him to buy parking sensors.

A teenager was almost run over on her way home from school when she was talking to her boyfriend on her mobile phone. A woman pulling out of her driveway was preoccupied with other things on her mind and did not see the teenager who also did not see the car backing out of the driveway. Fortunately, the woman who was driving the Alfa Romeo had a parking sensor on the car that made her stop just in time. She got the sensors after she heard about an incident in Twickenham in which a young man was found lying on the ground after being beaten and robbed because a woman had a parking sensor.

A three year old girl cheated death as she ran over the house of her next door neighbor just as the neighbor was pulling out of the driveway. Again, a parking sensor saved the live of the child who came very close to being run over in front of her horrified mother.

A pensioner in a wheelchair came close to being run down by a man who was pulling his car out of his driveway. Fortunately, he too had parking sensors on his car and stopped before he struck the elderly woman. The man had learned about the sensors from his vicar at church who gave a sermon about how he had been stuck down in the church lot by a member of his church who was not looking as he was pulling out of his parking spot.

A young woman was nearly attacked by a man who stalked her outside of the hospital where she worked and tried to get into her car. Because she had parking sensors on the side of her car, she was able to lock the doors and get away unharmed.

These are only 5 recent incidents in which parking sensors played a role in helping someone cheat death. Parking sensors are easy to install, inexpensive and can potentially save the life of someone you love or even yourself.

I can't believe the ease by which the parking sensor was fitted and we just love the discrete 'hidden' sensor design. What a difference the PD1 makes to both mine and my wife's parking and reversing.

The audible alert keeps our attention to a maximum level and really helps with tight parking spaces.
