Audi Parking Sensors Responsible For Prison Terms!

Two men were arrested and found guilty of beating up a Twickenham man and sentenced to terms in prison recently. Some are saying that an Audi parking sensor is responsible for the arrest of the two men who had long criminal records.

Apparently, a woman who just had a reverse parking sensor installed on her car was pulling into a pub just outside of Twickenham when she heard beeping. She got out of the car and saw a man lying on the ground who appeared to be badly beaten. The unidentified woman quickly used her mobile to phone police as well as an ambulance.

The victim, who also preferred to be unidentified, said that had it not been for the Audi parking sensor that was installed on the car of the woman who found him, he might be dead. He went to hospital with a serious concussion but was released a few days later. Local police quickly apprehended the two offenders and took them into custody.

Parking sensors have been in the news quite a bit in the United Kingdom recently as they are credited with saving the lives of some children when drivers were alerted that children were behind their vehicles as they were pulling out of garages and driveways. Each year, parking accidents involving children account for hundreds of injuries and deaths in the United Kingdom.

While most large trucks have mandatory parking sensors, cars are not usually equipped with these devices. They can be purchased at places online such as Parking Dynamics and easily installed under the front or rear bumper. They do not need professional installation and there are even parking sensor installation kits that are available for a quicker installation. Anyone with basic mechanical skills can install a parking sensor.

The Twickenham men is the first instance in the United Kingdom of parking sensors actually leading to an arrest and conviction. Because parking sensors have been in the news so much as of late, many people in the country are purchasing these devices for their cars. They are relatively inexpensive and easy to use. When your vehicle gets close to an object, the beeping will sound.   This alerts the driver that the vehicle is close to an object or, as was the case in the Twickenham pub, a person.

Parking sensors are available online for all makes and models of cars for a lot less money than you will pay to have them installed as an option on a luxury car. No one can see that the sensor is on the car as it is mounted behind the bumpers. No drilling into the bumper is involved when installing Audi parking sensors or other types of parking sensors.

Some people are using parking sensors not only on the front and back of their cars, but on the sides as well. This is helping some older people who have problems with peripheral vision to park in car parks where there are only narrow openings.   In addition to being mounted on the front and rear of the vehicle, they can also be mounted on the sides.

My Son Was Saved By Vehicle Sensors

I never thought about vehicle sensors until my son almost got hit by a car in the car park when we were walking into a store. Prior to that, I never even knew that vehicle sensors existed.

I knew that some trucks had them, but did not know that you could purchase vehicle sensors online at places like Parking Dynamics for any type of car, even an older model. I thought that these were reserved for luxury cars and trucks.

We walked were walking into the store in the car park and I let go of his hand for one second and he took off as little boys will. He ran right behind a car that was backing out of a parking spot. Fortunately, the man in the car had recently installed vehicle sensors on the bumpers of his car and stopped just in time. I owe the life of my son to those parking sensors.

After that incident, I thought that it might be a good idea to get parking sensors for my own car. After all, there are many children in our neighborhood and you never know when some child will dart behind you or in front of you. And none of us are perfect as we are often distracted when we are driving.

I purchased the car sensors online at a reasonable company and got one for each bumper. My husband installed them easily but I could have done this myself just as easily. He did not need a vehicle sensor installation kit to get the vehicle sensors on the bumpers.

I was a bit hesitant about the parking sensors and wondered if they would look strange on the car but was pleased to see that no one could even notice them as they are mounted behind the bumpers. They were so inexpensive and easy to use that I was surprised I never heard of them or thought to get them before. After all, parents are always looking for ways to protect their children. What better way than vehicle sensors.

I tested out the vehicle sensors before I began relying on them. They worked well. Whenever I got too close to any object, I heard a distinct beeping sound. I then knew it was time to stop immediately, just as that man had who drove the Renault that almost hit my son. The warning sound was very loud and I was even able to set the volume.

A few weeks later, I was puling into a parking spot on the street when I heard a beeping sound. It was dark and I did not see anything so I got out of the car to take a look. I found an injured dog on the road. I picked him up and took him to the vet. The poor animal had been lying there after someone hit him with their car and took off.

Had it not been for my vehicle sensors that warned me that an object was in my path, I might very well have run over the dog. As it was, I ended up saving the animal and taking him home as a companion for my son who loves animals. The vehicles sensors not only saved my son, but also allowed me to find a wonderful dog the entire family loves.

How A Reverse Parking Sensor Could Have Saved Two Lives

It was a rainy day when Jane pulled her 1999 Chevrolet out of her garage and on to her driveway. Jane was on her way grocery shopping. She looked into the rear mirror to make sure no one was in the driveway before backing out and proceeded.    Unfortunately, she did not have a reverse parking sensor on her car. A Chevrolet reverse parking sensor can be attached to any Chevy and will beep if you come into close proximity to any object. Or a human.

Her 84 year old neighbor, Mr. St. John, had been walking slowly towards her driveway. Jane did not notice him as she glanced in the mirror and he did not notice Jane pulling out of the driveway. The 84 year old pensioner was not wearing his hearing aids and his eyesight was not good. He had gone out for a walk, unknown to his daughter with whom he lived, and it had began to rain. He was hurrying home as fast as his legs could carry him when Jane accidentally ran over him with her Chevrolet.

Jane heard a loud thud and knew she had hit something. She thought that maybe it was a bicycle. She prayed that it was not a person but her prayers were not answered on that dark day. Mr. St. John lay under her vehicle. Dead.

You can imagine the panic and hysteria that ensued. There was nothing that could be done for Mr. St. John by the time the ambulance arrived. His daughter was heartbroken and Jane was devastated beyond hope. She could not get the accident out of her head. She kept thinking about the day of the accident. Just the week before, her husband had purchased a Parking Dynamics PD1 reverse parking sensor for her car and was going to install it before he was called out of town on business. Jane could not get over the cruel twist of fate.

Never a drinker, the accident caused Jane to start drinking heavily to alleviate depression. The Chevrolet reverse parking sensor sat in the garage. Her car was in the repair garage. Her neighbor was dead and Jane continued to drink.

It was two months after the tragic accident and death of Mr. St. John before Jane could manage to get behind the wheel of her Chevrolet. Her husband easily installed the reverse parking sensor beneath the plastic bumper. He even purchased another Chevrolet parking sensor for the front bumper. Jane, however, was no longer the woman she once was,. Unbeknownst to her husband, she now drank in the morning and throughout the day while he was at work.

One day, Jane again got into the car after downing some spirits and began driving on the street. Not having control of her judgment or mind, she was swerving all over the street. A policeman saw her and began a pursuit. Jane looked in the rearview mirror to see the police car chasing her with its lights blaring. Because of her inebriated state, she heard the beep of the Chevrolet parking sensor too late as the car careened towards a pole. Jane was dead.

Had Jane had the Chevrolet reverse parking sensor installed on her car, she probably never would have hit Mr. St. John nor started drinking and driving, a behavior that ultimately caused her death.

A Good Reason To Have Side Vehicle Sensors

You are probably already familiar with vehicle sensors that normally go on the rear and front bumpers of a car. These sensors alert the driver when he or she is getting to close to an object.

Parking sensors have been taking the United Kingdom by storm as stores have circulated about children who have been saved by those who had vehicle sensors as well as tragic stories of people who were killed or hurt in freak parking accidents.

In addition to front and back vehicle sensors that warn you when you are in close proximity to an object, there are also vehicle sensors that can fit under the door of both sides of the vehicle. A women in Manchester described a harrowing experience where she was almost attacked by a man who later attacked two other women before he was apprehended. She credits her side vehicle sensors for saving her from harm.

The woman was sitting in her car after a shift at the hospital where she worked as a nurse when the familiar beep alerted her that an object was in close proximity to her car. As she had not yet moved the car and had just started the motor up, she was startled.

She then looked up to see a large man approaching the passenger side of her car. She quickly used the automatic locks and started up the car as the man held on to the door and tried to break into the vehicle. She was able to get to safety as she blared her horn and the man ran off.

Weeks later, the man was caught after he had attacked two other women. As she saw his photo, the nurse, who preferred not to be identified, recognized him as the man who tried to attack her in the car park of the hospital. She credits her side vehicle sensors to alerting her of his presence just in the nick of time.

There are hundreds of incidents each year where women and sometimes men are accosted in car parks as they sit in their cars. With vehicle sensors, those sitting inside a car are alerted as to when someone is approaching the vehicle.

The beeping is loud enough to get your attention if you are busy talking on a phone or even listening to music. While we should lock our doors when we get into our cars automatically, some of us forget to do this. Side vehicle sensors are one way that you can be aware of not only what is going on in the front and rear of the car, but if anyone is approaching you from the side of the car.

Vehicle sensors are often called parking sensors because they aid in parking as well as reduce the risk of parking accidents. However, as in the case in Manchester, vehicle sensors, such as those sold on Parking Dynamics, which are inexpensive and easy for anyone to install, can end up protecting not only those outside the car, but those inside the car as well.

Reverse Parking Sensors Can Save Lives

Each year, hundreds of people in the United Kingdom are either injured or killed because of parking accidents. Parking accidents do not sound serious, unless you are talking about a child.

Children have a habit of sitting behind cars or playing in driveways. Sometimes drivers do not see a small child and end up hitting them with the car. This can all be avoided if people would equip their cars with parking sensors.

You can purchase parking sensors for both the front and back bumper of your car. No one can see that they are there and it does not ruin the appearance of your car.

Even people who have classic automobiles that they have restored are using parking sensors because they realize that these devices can not only save lives, but can also save the body work on their precious cars.

You can find parking sensors at a number of places online including Parking Dynamics. You can opt for a parking sensor that is especially made for your make and model automobile or a universal parking sensor that is made for all autos.

A reverse parking sensor is really just a parking sensor that is on your back bumper. If you find yourself pulling out of a driveway or parking space, you may not think to look around the back of the car where a small child can be playing or even an animal can be lurking. You turn on your car and start backing up and hit the hapless victim.

If your car is equipped with reverse parking sensors, you do not have to worry about hitting something because an alarm that sounds like a beeping will go off when the parking sensor is in close proximity of any object.

So if you turn on your car and the alarm starts beeping, you know that there is an object behind your car. Again, this can be anything from a bicycle to a child. You can then get out and look.

Some people also put parking sensors on the front of their cars to avoid hitting anything like a curb or objects in the garage. Some people never know how far to pull into their garage and end up hitting objects like tool cases and bikes.

This can be avoided if there is a parking sensor on the front bumper. It can be set to a certain distance so that you can just listen for the beep to know that you have pulled far enough into the garage space.

Reverse parking sensors that are purchased online can easily be attached to the rear bumper of your car without any sort of drilling or mechanical knowledge. There are also kits that can come with these products to make installation easy. Just about anyone can install reverse parking sensors on their car.

There have been a number of cases in the United Kingdom recently where parking sensors have actually saved lives. In one case, a man was discovered lying in a parking lot after an attack by a woman who had a reverse parking sensor recently installed on her car.

If your car is not equipped with a reverse parking sensor, you should check out the options online for these inexpensive devices.

How to Use A Reverse Parking Sensor

If you are concerned about hitting a person or object when you are backing out of a driveway or parking space, you should consider purchasing a reverse parking sensor that will easily attach to the bumper of your vehicle. You can get a reverse parking sensor for any make or model of car. Not only have they been known to save lives, but they can also save your vehicle from getting damaged.

After her boyfriend nearly wrecked his priceless classic Jaguar, a woman named Eve in Twickenham decided to get a reverse parking sensor for her car. Her boyfriend had just installed on his car and it saved him from running into a lorry. Eve decided that she would get a reverse parking sensor on her Audi. It was an older model car and did not have any parking sensors.

If you purchase a reverse parking sensor online like Eve did, you will have to install it under the rear bumper of your car yourself or have a friend do this for you. This is not a difficult job and pretty much anyone can install a reverse parking sensor. Eve asked her boyfriend to do this for her as he was very handy with cars. When she saw how easy this was to do, she realized that she could have done this herself.

You do not have to do anything but listen to use a reverse parking sensor. If you get too close to an object, the sensor will sound. It will make a loud beep to alert you that you are close to something. After installing the reverse parking sensor, you should test it out by backing up close to an object just so that you can become familiar with the sound.

In the case of Eve, she decided to fasten her seatbelts and go for a bumpy ride one night after having an argument with her boyfriend about his ex wife. She decided to go to a little pub that was out of the way and was backing into a parking space when she heard the familiar beep. She stopped the car and noticed that she was just about to hit a man.

The man had been laying on the curb after being robbed and beaten outside of the pub. Because she was alerted by her reverse parking sensor, she was able to phone the police and see that the man got the medical attention that he needed.

Oddly enough, Eve felt responsible for the man whose life she quite possibly saved. Not only did she find him and get him help, but her reverse parking sensor stopped her from hitting him or running over him with her car. She went to see him and a romance ensued.

Soon Eve dumped her Jaguar owning boyfriend and had a new boyfriend who did not have an ex wife with whom she had to contend.

Anyone can use a reverse parking sensor and benefit from such a device. As they are very inexpensive and easy to install, there is no reason why every car should not be equipped with a reverse parking sensor.

A Good Reason To Have A Back Up Sensor

You have probably heard large trucks or lorries making a beeping sound when they are backing up. This is to warn any pedestrians or even those driving other vehicles that they are moving in a certain direction and to pay attention and take heed. The reason that large trucks have these back up sensors is because the drivers are not always able to see behind them.

In some cases, people who are backing out of their driveways cannot always see behind them. Some of us glance in the rearview mirror before backing out of a driveway without giving it a second thought. We do the same thing when we are backing out of a car park.

One family found out the hard way a good reason to have a back up sensor in their car. They were pulling out of a church lot when they heard a thud. The family had just gone to Sunday service and everyone was in a good mood, chattering away and thinking about their Sunday meal. The thud was the sound of the Vicar who they hit.

Fortunately, the vicar was a younger man and was not hurt. The family, however, was very embarrassed. The vicar was knocked down but soon dusted himself off and was helped to his feet.

He suffered some minor bruising but nothing serious. It was a good thing that the family in the car was not peeling out of the church lot like some people do after Sunday service or the vicar could have been badly injured or killed.

When you are backing up your vehicle, you probably operate your vehicle just like most people and only take periodic glances in the mirrors.

Once you are sure that no one is behind you, you pull out. In some cases, such as the one with the family leaving church, a person comes up behind the car without paying attention themselves and may even go into the blind spot of the car where you cannot see them.

The vicar was busy chatting across the lot with other members of the church or else he would have noticed the car moving towards him. By the time he did see the car, he did not have time to get away. He thought that the car would stop, but the family in the car was so busy laughing and chatting that the driver was not paying attention to what was going on around him.

After this incident, the vicar spoke to the church about the importance of having back up sensors on the cars. He never mentioned the family by name, but most of the congregation by that time had already heard the story.

Most people actually found this sermon interesting, however, as few knew that they could purchase back up sensors for their cars online at places such as Parking Dynamics for only a little bit of money and easily install the devices themselves. Best of all, back up sensors are available for any make or model car.

Jaguar Car Sensors Can Save Your Car From Damage

Most people think that car sensors or parking sensors as they are sometimes called, are only available on luxury cars. Little do people know that parking sensors are available for any type of car and that there are even universal parking sensors that can go on all models.

Parking sensors are easy to install. You do not need to drill them into the metal of your car. They attach easily to the rear or front bumpers and are relatively inexpensive. If you come to close to an object, the parking sensor will start beeping, signaling you to stop the car.

They have saved hundreds of lives since being introduced to the United Kingdom several years ago. People in different areas of the country have credited parking sensors with saving the lives of their children and other family members.

One man in London heard about a woman close to Nottingham who was hit by a car as she sat outside a store in her wheelchair. He decided to install Jaguar car sensors on his classic Jaguar, which is his pride and joy.

The Jaguar car sensors were easily obtained by the owner of the car from Parking Dynamics and he installed them upon arrival. He was surprised at how easy they were to install and how inexpensive they were. He figured it would be a good idea to have these on his Jaguar as he never wanted to hit anyone while backing out of the driveway and noticed that some of the neighbors had children who played close to his home.

Shortly after installing the Jaguar car sensors on his car, the Jaguar owner was pulling out of his driveway and talking on his mobile phone to his girlfriend at the same time. He was not paying attention to the lorry that was slowly moving down the street. The lorry driver was not paying attention to the Jaguar backing out of the driveway because he was looking for an address.

With both drivers preoccupied, as often happens although none of us wants to admit it, a collision was sure to occur, except for the fact that the Jaguar car sensors had been installed and were operational. The loud beep caused the Jaguar owner to slam on his brakes and avoid a collision with the lorry, which would have pretty much demolished the classic car.
Although is it more important that car sensors are used to save lives, it is also a good idea to buy Jaguar car sensors at places where you can order them online like Parking Dynamics, and install them yourself, to avoid costly damage to your vehicle.

No matter what type of automobile you have, you are better off to prevent any sort of damage as it is all costly. Parking sensors can do this for you. They can not only save your car from body damage, but they may also allow you to avoid a collision with an object or another person.

Why You Should Have A Universal Parking Sensor

Each year, hundreds of children are injured in the country because they are hit by cars that are backing out of driveways. Sadly, many of these children are killed. These tragedies are needless if you have a universal parking senor on your car.

A universal parking sensor can fit on any vehicle and will signal you with a loud beep whenever you get too close to any object or person, including a small child playing in the driveway.

Anne never noticed that the child next door was playing in the driveway when she backed her Citroen out of the garage to go to the store. Fortunately, she had a reverse universal parking sensor on her car and it beeped, just in time. Had Anne not had the parking sensor attached to the back of her vehicle, tragedy might have ensued. In this case, the universal parking sensor may very well have saved a life.

These items are not expensive and are made for all makes and models of autos. You can put one of the sensors on the front bumper of your car and one on the rear bumper. They are inexpensive and easy to install. You do not need to drill or have the device professionally installed as anyone can do this.

With the Parking Dynamics PD1 universal parking sensor, anyone can be safer as they pull out of their garage onto the street, or even out of a parking lot. Small children cannot be spotted in the rearview mirror of your car. If you get into your car in your garage, as Anne did, open the garage by remote and proceed to back out, while looking in the rearview mirror, you may not see a thing until it is too late.

Freak accidents occur like this all of the time to children. Animals and objects are also affected. This need not happen if you have a universal parking sensor to tell you when you are coming into close proximity of an object or person.

Anne felt quite lucky that her Citroen did not hit this child. The funny thing was that she had just received the reverse universal parking sensor from her husband as a gift the week before. Anne had been having trouble parking in the garage and he thought he would help her out. As it turned out, this gift actually turned out to be a most likely life saver.
Once you see how inexpensive these items are and how easy they are to install, you will also want to get a universal parking sensor for yourself or someone who you love. You never know if attaching a parking sensor to your car can save your car from a dent, or save the life of a child.

Anne certainly did not expect her gift to be that which she would use so soon and would make such an impact not only on her life, but of the lives of her neighbors and, of course, their little son.

What Are Parking Sensors?

Perhaps you have heard the buzz about parking sensors on vehicles. You, like many others, may be under the impression that these devices are only available on luxury automobiles. You may be surprised to discover that parking sensors are available online for all makes and models of cars and better than that - they are easy to install and not expensive.

There has been a rash of incidents involving parking accidents across the United Kingdom recently. At least three people died as a result of parking accidents. One woman, a gifted pianist, lost her left hand in a freak parking accident.   An elderly man was struck and killed. Pets have also been victims and children have been either victims or near victims.

Sadly, children are the most vulnerable to the types of freak accidents that parking sensors can prevent. A parking sensor is almost like a car alarm. You know that when you get too close to a car alarm it goes off and alerts everyone around it. A parking sensor works the same way. The car gets too close to an object or an object gets too close to the car and the alarm sounds. It alerts the driver who should instinctively slam on the brakes of the car.

There is no reason for anyone to suffer from the freak accidents that claim the lives of scores of people each year in the United Kingdom. Some will argue that drivers need to pay closer attention to their driving. This is true, but as anyone who has ever operated a motor vehicle will tell you, this is easier said than done.

All of us today are not only distracted by thoughts, but by objects. We have mobiles in our cars. We have children who may be talking or trying to get our attention. We have music players we may be listening to or PDAs that we may even be using. Almost everyone agrees that drivers in the UK need less distractions than more.

But as this is not likely to happen and as we do not want to see deaths of people, most of whom are children and the elderly, due to freakish car accidents such as someone backing over someone while pulling out of a driveway, maybe it makes more sense to get parking sensors.

You can go to a site like Parking Dynamics and find all of the items that you need to put in your own parking sensor for your car. No matter what type of car you have, there is a parking sensor to work with it. This device is invisible on your car and is hidden under the bumpers. You can also opt for side vehicle sensors that can help you if you have trouble parking into tight places.
Once you have parking sensors on your car, you will be adding a bit more security to your driving experience. While parking sensors are not a substitute for common sense when driving, they are a good way to possibly save a life if you, like most people, get a little distracted when you are driving your car.

I can't believe the ease by which the parking sensor was fitted and we just love the discrete 'hidden' sensor design. What a difference the PD1 makes to both mine and my wife's parking and reversing.

The audible alert keeps our attention to a maximum level and really helps with tight parking spaces.
