My Audi Parking Sensor Saved My Car!

I was in the shopping centre and was pulling out of a parking space when I heard the familiar beep of my Audi parking sensor. This device was a gift from my husband for my birthday. When I received it, I was a bit put out. After all, I had expected lingerie or perfume, but not a parking sensor.

Prior to getting my Audi parking sensor, I always thought that these devices were only for luxury automobiles. I knew my sister had one that came with her new car. As I had an older car, I never conceived that I, too, could have a vehicle sensor.

Parking sensors or vehicle sensors are a way that you can learn you have gotten too close to another object. The device that my husband got for me, the Parking Dynamics PD1, was easy for him to install. Actually, I could have done this myself, but he insisted as it was part of the gift. He put it on the rear bumper of my Audi without having to drill or even remove the bumper. Actually, I was quite impressed with the results as I did not even know the device was there.

The day in the parking lot, when I was pulling out of my spot, another car was pulling out at the same time from directly behind me. We both looked in our mirrors, saw the coast was clear and began reversing out of our respective parking spots. Had it not been for my Audi parking sensor, which signaled by beeping loudly, I would not have known that the other car was there. She did not see me and I did not see her.

Fortunately, I was alerted by the Parking Dynamics PD1 and stopped my car. I allowed her to exit the lot before reversing any more. The collision that would have ensued would have been the fault of both of us and probably costly. It is a good thing it was avoided.

Since that day, I have looked into parking sensors online and found that these devices are not only easy to install, but very affordable. I even found out how much the device my husband got for me did cost. I was not too pleased as I paid a lot more for the gift I got him for his last birthday. These devices are inexpensive and easily attained. I wonder why more people do not have them.

A parking sensor can go anywhere on the car. There is no drilling involved and can protect the car from dings, scratches and running into another object or even a human being. People are often hit in parking lots and even in driveways because they either do not look or the object is in the blind spot.

No one intends to cause an accident, which is why they are called accidents. And this is why everyone should look into getting parking sensors or vehicle sensors on their cars. You can not only stave off an accident, but by having a parking sensor, you may actually save a life.

5 Reasons You Should Have Parking Sensors On Your Car

You have probably heard about parking sensors by now. They are not only for trucks and expensive vehicles any longer. Anyone can get parking sensors if they go online and buy them. They are inexpensive devices that are easily installed on the bumper of your car.

You cannot see them from the outside and no one knows that they are there but you. When they go off, they emit a loud sound that tells you that you are too close to an object or even a person.

5 good reasons why you should have parking sensors on your car are as follows:

A two year old boy was spared recently when he let go of the hand of his mum and went running in a car park and was nearly hit by a man backing out of a parking space. Fortunately, the man had parking sensors on his car. Prior to that day, the man had run over the family cat in the driveway, which induced him to buy parking sensors.

A teenager was almost run over on her way home from school when she was talking to her boyfriend on her mobile phone. A woman pulling out of her driveway was preoccupied with other things on her mind and did not see the teenager who also did not see the car backing out of the driveway. Fortunately, the woman who was driving the Alfa Romeo had a parking sensor on the car that made her stop just in time. She got the sensors after she heard about an incident in Twickenham in which a young man was found lying on the ground after being beaten and robbed because a woman had a parking sensor.

A three year old girl cheated death as she ran over the house of her next door neighbor just as the neighbor was pulling out of the driveway. Again, a parking sensor saved the live of the child who came very close to being run over in front of her horrified mother.

A pensioner in a wheelchair came close to being run down by a man who was pulling his car out of his driveway. Fortunately, he too had parking sensors on his car and stopped before he struck the elderly woman. The man had learned about the sensors from his vicar at church who gave a sermon about how he had been stuck down in the church lot by a member of his church who was not looking as he was pulling out of his parking spot.

A young woman was nearly attacked by a man who stalked her outside of the hospital where she worked and tried to get into her car. Because she had parking sensors on the side of her car, she was able to lock the doors and get away unharmed.

These are only 5 recent incidents in which parking sensors played a role in helping someone cheat death. Parking sensors are easy to install, inexpensive and can potentially save the life of someone you love or even yourself.

Parking Sensors Taught Me How To Parallel Park

I live on the outskirts of London and we have to park in the street. Parallel parking has never been my forte, to put it mildly. My parking was dreadful and half of the time my car was not parked properly. I was ticketed on more than one occasion.

My friend suggested that I get parking sensors for my car to teach me how to parallel park. The parking sensors were easy to install and easily attained. I have a Mitsubishi automobile and was able to find Mitsubishi parking sensors online. There was no need for drilling or even professional installation. I was able to attach them both to my rear and front bumpers in a matter of minutes.

Then the fun began. With the parking sensors in place, my friend proceeded to teach me to parallel park on the street. The parking sensors, which I received from Parking Dynamics, made this a lot easier for me than ever before.

The first thing you need to do when learning how to parallel park is to pull up to the car in front of you so that you are right next to this vehicle. You then need to turn the wheels so that they go out towards the road and start backing in to the space, reversing slowly. The first time I tried this, the beeps were going off all of the time, indicating that I cut in too close to the car ahead of me and was in danger of hitting it.

Once you have cut the vehicle towards the curb as much as possible, you then need to continue to reverse while turning the front tires away from the street. Again, my front parking sensor kept beeping, but this allowed me to know just how far I had to turn the vehicle. The Mitsubishi parking sensors actually stopped me from hitting the car about seven times as I was learning how to do this.

After you get in your space, you need to back up to the car in back of you and leave some room between your car as well as the car in front of you and behind you. Always leave two feet in the front or the back so that you can get out. You never know if the car in front of you or behind you is going to leave and another one take its place and box you in.

By having both rear and front end parking sensors on my car, I was not only able to learn how to parallel park properly, but also able to continue to do so. I was no longer frightened of hitting a car behind me because of the parking sensors. This enabled me to begin to parallel park like a pro.

Now whenever I parallel park on the street in front of my house, the beepers never go off. I am glad that I have the Mitsubishi parking sensors on my car, however, as they have prevented me from hitting curbs and other objects such as trolleys in parking lots.

Why You Should Get A Renault Parking Sensor

If you have an older Renault vehicle or new vehicle, you should get a Renault parking sensor. This can quite possibly save the life of someone you love. Each year, hundreds of people are injured when someone backs into them when pulling their car out of a parking space or garage.

People today are very busy with multi tasking - they are talking on mobile phones, listening to MP3 players or thinking about something else. Despite the fact that vehicles are equipped with safety features such as rearview and side mirrors, it sometimes is not enough.

A man named Ken found out about getting a Renault parking sensor the hard way. He was pulling into his driveway late one night after being out at the pub. He heard a thump and found that he had run over a cat. Not just any cat, however, but the family cat. The cat was up in years and fell asleep on the driveway after getting outside, Had Ken had a Renault parking sensor on his car, he would not have run over Whiskers and his children would not have been so traumatized.

After Ken ran over the cat, he quickly went online and purchased Renault parking sensors for his car. He dreaded to think if the cat had been one of his children. He was able to get them quickly through Parking Dynamics online which makes parking sensors for every type of vehicle. He did not think that he could get parking sensors for his car as they are generally offered only with luxury automobiles.

He was pleased to discover how inexpensive they were and how easy they were to install. Each time his vehicle came to close to any other object, a beeping sounded. This alerted Ken to stop the car. Had he had the parking sensor prior to the night he came home from the pub, he most likely would not have run over the cat.

A few weeks later, Ken was pulling out of a car park near a shopping center and talking to his wife on his mobile. He heard a loud beep and immediately slammed on his brakes. Just in the nick of time, too, as a two year old boy had darted out in back of his car, much to the horror of his frantic mother. Had Ken not had a Renault parking sensor, he might have hit or even killed the child.

Parking sensors come for all types of vehicles. They can easily be mounted to the front or back bumper. Most people get parking sensors for both bumpers and some get them for the sides of the vehicle. Parking sensors can save lives and also save people and pets from serious injury as well. There have been incidents throughout the UK of people who have been severely injured or killed due to being hit in a parking accident. It is not unheard of. For this reason, you should get a parking sensor for your car.

If you do not want to get one for your front bumper, you should at least get one for your rear bumper as most parking accidents occur when someone is backing up.

An Alfa Romeo Parking Sensor Saved Me

I was a little skeptical about parking sensors. I kept hearing about them all of the time on the news and about how a few people died from being hit by cars that were pulling out of garages or car parks. I felt that these people were stupid and that it could never happen to me.

I was walking home from school one day and my boyfriend called me on my mobile. We had just had a fight and I thought that he wanted to make it up. Instead, he wanted to confess that he had been seeing some girl behind my back for quite some time. I was upset and yelling at him on the phone and not really watching where I was going.

Before I knew it, a car, like the type that James Bond used to drive, came pulling out of a driveway and zooming towards me. I barely had time to scream but then the driver just slammed on the brakes. I stood there shaking until I realized that I had almost gotten run over.

The owner of the Alfa Romeo came out of the car and gave me a hug. She was a nice lady and she asked me to sit down and then fetched me a cup of tea because she saw that I was shaking so much. I asked her how she knew to stop and she told me that her Alfa Romeo parking sensor that she had installed on her rear bumper made a noise when the car got close to me. She had been in a hurry and was not really looking out of the rearview when she almost hit me. We were both really lucky.

It was funny that this actually worked out to be a babysitting job for me. The lady was a single mum and had a couple of little kids. I liked babysitting for the kids. I talked to my dad about the car and he wanted to see the Alfa Romeo parking sensor that saved my life. He went on over one day to take a look at how they were installed and then went on to some site called Parking Dynamics and got some parking sensors for his car, too. Ever since my own mum died, my dad has been very protective over me and felt that he should also protect other children as well.

When my dad realized how inexpensive these parking sensors were and how easy they were to install, he was amazed and regretted not knowing about them sooner. Then something really funny happened. My dad and this lady, her name is Ginger, started really hitting it off. Soon I was babysitting so the two of them could go out. And it was not long before my dad asked her to get married.
I lost a boyfriend that day and almost lost my life. But thanks to Ginger having Alfa Romeo parking sensors on her car, I gained a new step mum and a really cute little step brother and step sister. When I get my own car, the first thing I am going to do is get parking sensors for the rear and front bumpers.

Installing Parking Sensors

If you have a car that is not equipped with parking sensors, you can easily purchase these potentially life saving devices online and install them yourself.

You do not need to drill into the car or perform any mechanical feats of wonder. The only thing you need to do is to use the magnetic strip on the back of the device and hook it up to the bumper of your car.

You can install parking sensors on the front bumper or rear bumper. Most people prefer reverse parking sensors over front parking sensors because more accidents occur when someone is backing up than pulling forward. There are those, however, who install parking sensors on both bumpers of the car and even the sides of the car.

There are hundreds of parking accidents that cause some sort of injury each year in the United Kingdom. Most of these can be avoided if the vehicles were only equipped with parking sensors.

These easy to install and inexpensive devices are available online for all makes and models of cars. There is no reason for anyone not to have them.

You do not need to have any mechanical skills to install parking sensors. You can use parking sensor installation kits if you like that provide the small tools you need if you do not have any tools of your own. You do not have to bring your car to the garage to have these devices installed.

Once you have successfully installed parking sensors on your car, you should then test them out to make sure that they work. They should emit a sound when you are within a certain proximity to an object. This distance as well as the sound can be controlled by you.

Most parking sensors emit a loud beeping noise when approaching any object, similar to how a car alarm works. This allows the driver a chance to stop the car before he or she backs into anything or any one.

Damage to vehicles in car parks amounts to the millions in the UK each year. Trolleys get loose near market places and fall into cars or two cars back out of a parking space at the same time. Most people who are driving their cars today are somewhat distracted and make mistakes when parking or pulling out of parking places.

Damage to vehicles is the least of the problems. People and animals have been known to be injured or killed when cars back into them. Installing parking sensors is the only smart thing to do to avoid these type of parking accidents.

Do not wait until you have hit someone or something before you take action and install parking sensors onto the bumpers of your car. They are easy to install and no one will even know that they are there.

They are an alarm system that will sound when you are too close to an object or an object is too close to you. They may very well save the life of a child, adult or pet that gets too close to your car when you are parking, pulling away or not paying attention when you are driving

Getting An Alfa Romeo Parking Sensor

Dan was very proud of his 1969 Alfa Romeo. He worked hard to get this car and it was considered a classic showcase automobile. He spent a good deal of this time, especially on the weekends, fixing the car so that the classic vehicle would be as it looked when new.

He was finally at the stage where he was ready to show the car when he pulled it out of the garage and into another car. He did not realize that a friend of his wife was visiting and had parked in the driveway.

Had Dan had an Alfa Romeo vehicle sensor on his car, this never would have happened. You often see ads for vehicle sensors on luxury automobiles and think it would be nice to have one of these for yourself. They are priced below one hundred pounds and are available not only for the Alfa Romeo, but any vehicle. They are easy to install either under the front or back bumper and can even be installed in the side doors. Best of all, no one knows that they are there.

Dan was shattered when he hit the other car with his beloved Alfa Romeo. He saw an ad for an Alfa Romeo parking sensor and was planning on getting one for his vehicle. He looked at the Parking Dynamics PD1 and thought it was a good deal, but never followed up on ordering the device.  Because of his hesitation, he not only had the expense of having to again fix up his Alfa Romeo, but also the car that belonged to the friend of his wife.

Parking sensors or vehicle sensors are no longer reserved for only certain luxury automobiles that come with the devices already installed. Anyone can now have parking sensors on their car. They are not only economically affordable and easy to install, they can be potential life savers. Dan was lucky that he just hit a car and not a child. Each year, hundreds of children across the UK are killed when they are hit by a car backing out of a driveway.

Had the wife of his friend had a vehicle sensor on her car, it would have also warned Dan of his approach. Not only can parking sensors work to protect you from hitting another object, they can signal that another object is approaching. Had Dan heard the familiar loud beep of the parking sensor, he probably would have stopped and looked. Instead, two cars received substantial and costly damage.

Do not be like Dan. Get a parking sensor for your car. You can find devices like the Parking Dynamics Alfa Romeo Parking Sensor online for a lot less than you think and have it installed on your car in a matter of minutes. Why take chances with your car or even the life of a child anyone else? The first thing that Dan did when he restored his beloved classic automobile for the second time was to get an Alfa Romeo parking sensor to make sure he never accidentally hit something again.

Avoid Parking Accidents With Parking Sensors

Each day, there are dozens of parking accidents in the United Kingdom due to people who are not watching where they are going or who are distracted for a variety of different reasons. While most parking accidents involve objects, many involve people who are hit. Sadly, some of those people who are involved in parking accidents who are hit are young children and many of them die.

You can avoid parking accidents by installing parking sensors on the front and rear bumpers of your car. Once reserved only for luxury automobiles, parking sensors are now available for all makes and models of cars. You can purchase them online for under one hundred pounds and install them yourself on your car. Because they attach under the bumpers, no one will even know that they are there so they will not ruin the look of your car.

The way that parking sensors work is that when an object gets too close to your vehicle, a beep goes off. You hear this in the car and know that you are in close proximity to an object, signaling you to stop the car. This can work well if you are pulling out of your driveway and a small child runs in back of your car.

Even if you are constantly looking, you might miss such an incident. If you have a parking sensor on your rear bumper, however, you can avoid such a catastrophe. A small child could easily be killed if struck by a car coming out of a garage or parking space.

You can use the parking sensors when you pull into a garage at work or any parking spots. If you are too close to a curb, your parking sensor can tell you. Because the parking sensors are so easily affordable and are made for all types of cars, you can afford to not only put them on the front and rear bumpers, but also on the sides the car.

They can go under the passenger and driver doors on the car, giving you extra protection when you are parking in a lot. This can also help you avoid dings to the car from a shopping trolley that may be in your blind spot as you pull into a parking space.

Parking accidents happen all of the time. People do not mean to hit another object, car or person, it just happens.  We are all guilty of being distracted at one time or another when we are driving. For this reason, parking sensors are used to prevent us from having an accident.

Unfortunately, they currently only come on certain luxury model cars.   However, now you can purchase parking sensors, install them yourself without drills or any real effort, and be afforded the same protection that those who drive luxury automobiles are given. Parking sensors for any car are easy to obtain and can help you avoid parking accidents that might cause damage to your vehicle or injure another person.

One Good Reason To Install Citroen C3 Reverse Parking Sensors

One good reason for anyone to install Citroen C3 reverse parking sensors is related to an incident that occurred in Nottingham not too long ago. A three year old child got away from her mother and ran into the driveway next door just as the neighbour was pulling out of the driveway. The child was about to be hit by the car but fortunately the driver had just installed Citroen C3 reverse parking sensors on her rear bumper. The driver was alerted with a loud beeping noise that there was an object behind her and stopped the car just in time.

The incident in Nottingham prompted many people to think about getting reverse parking sensors for their cars. Many luxury automobiles come with parking sensors for an extra fee. These sensors let the driver know when another object or person is close to the car and sound an alarm. As parking accidents occur every day in the United Kingdom, reverse parking sensors seem to be a good idea.

Shortly after the incident in Nottingham, parking sensors were again brought into the public eye as an elderly woman, Mrs. Beatrice Mills, who was coincidentally a neighbor of the little girl who nearly got run over, was in her wheelchair in a shopping center waiting for her daughter to pick her up. As Mrs. Mills waited near the entrance of the store, a vehicle approached and began backing up towards the store. The owner of the vehicle wanted to return an item that he had in the boot of his car, which was, like the automobile in the incident in Nottingham, was a Citroen C3.

Unfortunately, this car did not have Citroen C3 reverse parking sensors and tragedy ensued as the helpless and confined Mrs. Mills was struck by the car before anyone could help her. Fortunately, the pensioner only sustained a broken leg in the event, but those who watched the incident unfold before their eyes were horrified. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

It was good fortune that the driver was backing up very slowly and that he had quick reflexes and stopped as soon as he felt his car hit something. He thought he hit a cement pole, but it turns out that it was the wheelchair of Mrs. Mills. The driver of the car was ticketed. He had never heard about Citroen C3 reverse parking sensors and was not from the Nottingham area but from Scotland.

He was very distraught bout the incident and paid for the time that Mrs. Mills was confined to hospital. He also vowed then and there to purchase and install Citroen C3 reverse parking sensors for his car. When he found out that they were inexpensive and that he could install them himself in minutes, he purchased one for himself and his wife.

Anyone looking for Citroen C3 reverse parking sensors or any type of parking sensors should take a look at the deals online. There are online outlets such as Parking Dynamics that allow you to have a peace of mind when you drive your car and know that you will be alerted if you are parking your vehicle or backing up and are about to hit something.
